Walking along Pitt street I saw the new Nespresso store, walked inside, and found there is now a second level called the Nespresso lab.

Apparently on weekends they have ice cream and other treats to go along with it. However, those treats of course mean the location gets very busy.
The interior is stylish and has room to chill. The staff member who helped me was nice and on the day I went was serving two drinks, both of them iced.
The first was a pistachio vanilla iced latte with rose water and honey. The barista made it by mixing honey with the vertuo pistachio vanilla capsule and then rose water, followed with ice and soy milk. This was the best one for sure.

The second was a coconut vanilla sea salt latte made with coconut the standard (classic) Nespresso capsule. Also good but lacked the interesting flavor profile of the honey rose water pistachio latte.
Both were free to anyone who came and asked for them.
Check out the Nespresso lab in Sydney at 144 Pitt street, one level above ground.
